BOEING 787: THE DREAM COMES TRUE
The boeing 787 Dreamliner finally made it! After two years delayed, this aircraft finally success on it's first flight from Everett to Seattle on 15th of December for 3 hours. This type of aircraft can safe 20% fuel compared to all twin engines widebodies similar to it. By using new technologies such as automatic window shades, LED lighting, larger window and quieten engine's sound, the Dreamliner is perfect and fabulous to serve medium long range routes. Currently Boeing has got order for the amount of 840 units Dreamliner and Boeing is now free to produce it and start the first delivery in the fourth quartal next year to Japanese All Nippon Airways. Believe it or not, everybody applauded after the aircraft airborne!

GARUDA INDONESIA - INDONESIA'S NATIONAL FLAG CARRIER AIRLINES
Because I'm living in Indonesia, let me start talking with my country's national flag carrier first, Garuda Indonesia. :D
Brief description of the airline:
Garuda is a mythical bird that is believed as the steed of Hindu's Wisnu God. This carier was founded in year 1949 and ever be world's best carier in year 90's, serving Asia, Europe, Australia as well as middle east routes. However, due to global economic crisis in year 1998, the carier had to close some routes and lost a lot of money. It was lesser competitive that time with other south east Asian airlines and lost a lot of money until 2006. Starting 2007, this airline has been gaining profit under the lead of current CEO Emirsyah Satar. This airline has really made a great change. They introduced "Garuda Indonesia Experience" on the quantum leap program - Bringing all the best from Indonesia as their best service.With that, it hopes to achieve 5 star rank from Skytrax. In that program also they have announced to purchase 90 B737-800NG, 20 A330-200, and 10 B777-300ER, and thus it will double it's fleet number in year 2014. Garuda also planning to "go public" and flies back to Europe starting June 2010.

First Posting for this blog
Tracing all my blog expert friends and asking some help from them, finally I've made my very first blog and thus I posted this to indicate this memorial day. After thinking for such a long time I decided to choose "all about aviation world" as the best topic for this blog, because that's what I like! And I also decided to use English to write everything - well, I know my English is not very good (it's because I was born in a non-speaking English country) but this is for the ability to be read by everybody. And so, cheers for everybody as I'm gonna start to talk the aviation world!
